As a background, the outdoors tends to be rather busy. Therefore,
selecting proper clothing is essential. Here are some tips:
Choose only one or two theme colors
Stay with solids, no bold patterns, stripes,
plaids or prints.
Ladies: avoid sleeveless tops. A bare upper
arm and shoulder area, in most cases does not compliment the features of the
face.
When dressing formal, dark solids are best.
The Rule of White: (or any color that is much
lighter than everyone else's) If one person is wearing white or light everyone
must do the same. Imagine standing ten feet away from a portrait that
has every one in medium or dark colors and one or two have on white or a very
light color. The light colors stick out and your eye is drawn to that
spot.
If a family member wears glasses, ask your
optometrist to loan a pair of blank frames without the lens or you may choose
to remove your own. There is a charge to remove glass glare.
